Kalon pulled his helmet off as he began to disrobe and change into his piloting gear, his mind focused on the task he had been given a short time before. He had received the message to the terminal in his quarters, with the identity of the sender scrambled by some rather heavy duty encryption. The text had been fairly straightforward, and the mission that the message had detailed sounded important, so the Entar had dropped any other plans and made his way to get ready to fly.

Subject: Important Mission.
Mr. Entar,
Arcona has need of your skills once more. We are finding the Clan’s best pilots and testing them, and you have met our criteria. A mission has come forward that we will use to measure your skills and ascertain how ready you are to join our ranks. Your mission is as follows:
A convoy of ships is currently passing through the Seswenna System, delivering military supplies to our enemies. The convoy is being escorted by a full squadron of TIE Defender starfighters, and we need you to make sure they do not reach their destination. Your priority is the destruction of the convoy, which we believe to be in the region of 10 freighters in size, but destruction of it’s escort could earn you some extra kudos within the Clan. We have obtained and prepared a Stealth-X fighter, a B-Wing and an XJ X-Wing, you may choose one of them to use for this mission depending on which you feel is best able to fulfill the task at hand.
Do not fail us. Succeed, and the possibilities will be endless.
His outfit changed, Kalon moved through in to the hangar, his eyes scanning the trio of ships that sat ready for him to choose.
