Riverche sipped lightly at a Corellian whiskey watered down by a glass of lemonade. Half a burger and potato wedges were on the table in front of her as she shifted in the booth. The Aleena sighed as what appeared to be a homeless male stumbled into her table. A small inhale revealed that the Ryn smelled more like a bar than filth - stale tobacco and spilled beer.
“You Ri-River… River-she?”
“Riverche,” the Defender quickly corrected in cheerful tones.
Kordath Bleu d’Tana blinked. “Right… Celevon sent me with… with… Damn you’re tiny.”
“… Celevon? The one from the Contract Bureau?”
“Mhm… Now, I’m here too… uh. You’re not a garden gnome, right?” The Captain of the Nighthawk squinted at the Aleena suspiciously. As soon as Riverche opened her mouth to retort, the Ryn started speaking again. “Oh, right. Celevon told me to give you this. Have a good day.”
He dropped a datapad on the table, barely managing to not drop the device on her plate before Kordath stumbled off.
